What Causes Ribcage Area Pain With A Tender Abdomen?
My daughter has begun having pain on her right side and back under the rib cage area. This pain has been coming and going since yesterday evening but seems to be more steady today. The pain does bring her to tears so it must be pretty severe. It is tender to the touch on the right side of her abdomen just under her rib cage. It does not appear to be muscular in nature in her back, she does not flinch when the muscles in her back are massaged. Do you think it would warrant an emergency room visit.
