The type of incision used for hernia repair will depend on the size, complexity, and type of hernia. The procedure can be done laparoscopically too. Small hernias can be managed non-surgically too. It is difficult to give you a definite answer So, please undergo the CAT scan and follow up with your surgeon to discuss the treatment options ideal for you.
