What Causes Running Nose And Coughing Of Green Phlegm Since 1 Month?
Why have I been coughing up green phlegm for 2 months now and have had a runny nose for 1 month?
I have been coughing up this thick green phlegm for 2 months now. And about a month ago started having a runny nose. I also have been having head aches off and off. I dont have a fever or anything. Sometimes I get the chills. Sometimes I start wheezing and I can hear crackling sounds coming from my chest.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of runny nose and coughing of green phlegam which seems to be due to infection of nasal sinuses and due to infection of respiratory tract infection. It is due to lowered immunity of body. Need not to worry. Avoid intake of outside food and avoid cold carbonated beverages. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after thorough examination. You should get paranasal sinus and chest X-ray done and start treatment after proper prescription. You should take nasal saline rinses and take steam inhalation as well. Take proper course of antibiotics such as Amoxicillin along with antiinflammatory medication such as Levocetrizine. You should take cough expectorants. Do warm saline gargles. Put antiinflammatory nose drops in nasal cavity. Avoid touching or pricking nose.
