What Causes Runny Nose, Sore Throat And Shortness Of Breath?

I have had a sore throat on and off and a runny nose for about 4 weeks. Within the last three days my left ear has become difficult to hear from and I get short of breath just walking. I have to take deep breaths to get back to feeling more normal breathing.

Hello,

The symptoms you explain seem to be due to a viral infection and being on and off in time it might be due to a couple of different viral infections after one other. Normally they are self limiting and don't need specific treatment. On the other hand the presence of shortness of breath with walking is something that need medical attention and proper examination of your lungs to rule out pneumonia, especially walking pneumonia which is not that severe clinically and the patient has prolonged symptoms but need proper treatment with antibiotics.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,

Antoneta Zotaj
