Hello,

The possible causes for salty taste in mouth are:
1. Dry mouth
2. Dehydration
3. Bleeding into mouth
4. Post nasal drip
5. Oral infection
6. Acid-bile reflux
7. Nutritional deficiency of b12or folate
8. Sjogren's syndrome
9. Hormonal imbalance
10. Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) leak
11. Medications

Avoid spicy food and alcohol, and take tablet Pantoprazole for one week. Eat soft diet, and avoid heavy meal at night.

If symptoms not improved, please consult your physician, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
