What Causes Scanty Urination After Removal Of Catheter?
I have just been discharged from hospital for a uti infection and urine retention due to medication I was on called amatryptaline . I was on a foley catheter for two days but yesterday it was taken out. I can urinate but it is small amounts only. Is this normal?

It may take several days up to 1 week tiill urine output stabilize so you should be patient, drink more fluids,raspberry tea an dif there is no improvement you should reconsider putting catheter back.
