What Causes Seizures While Suffering From Depression?
I have bipolar and major depression. But about seven years I started to become confused, overwhelmed, and sensitive to sounds and flash screens. I don t have epilepsy, but have a couple of seizures caused by something else. I no longer go to social events and being around my grandchildren causes the same feelings. I take Zoloft, Lamictal, and a small dosage of anti anxiety medication (2 mg) a day, and Trazodone for sleep.

It is the potentiality of certain anti depressant medications, which lowers the seizure threshold and provokes seizures. Needs dose requirement of current medications along with other supportive care and MRI evaluation.
