What Causes Seizures?

i've had two seizeres in the last thirty days.before that i've never had a seizure before..during the last seizure my heart stopped and i stopped breathing. the er docs didnt believe that my heart stopped.but my neighbor is an icu nurse and she couldnt find a pulse and did cpr.
