What Causes Severe Abdominal Cramps And Excessive Sweating After Eating?

Yesterday about 45 minutes to an hour after eating, I had severe abdominal cramps with an urgency to go #2. I broke out in a sweat and went to go into use the bathroom, lost consciousness, was taken by ambulance to er. Blood pressure was very low. Everytime I had a bowel movement I felt better and blood pressure went up. They discharged me after my b/p went up. I heard food poisoning mentioned, but my aftercare paperwork said dehydration. I consume about 30/40 ounces of water a day sometimes more.

Well come to HCM
Thank for asking
I really appreciate your concern, severe dyspepsia or complete digestive dysfunction could be the cause of symptoms of fainting or syncope, if not the history of any congenital cardiac disease is there, and if this is not being rule out then it is most advisable to rule this out, and for that better to get done the EKG, CT brain, just for safe side, else the condition was due to digestive dysfunction only, it is advisable to watch for next episode if ever going to happen in future, hope this information helps.
