My 14 year old daughter has a long history of abdominal pain, with Celiac Disease ruled in then out at age 5. She is controlled on Miralax daily for years. Recent repeat of Celiac blods was negative. She is now 14, lost her periods 5 months ago, started more severe abdominal pain 3 months ago, and it is now very severe mid region pain, loss of appetite, constipation, fatigue and 7 lb weight loss in 2 months. We are waiting for specialist appt. Do you have any ideas of differential diagnoses?
I really appreciate your concern, as long as the abdomen pain is concerned it may be due to infection and it of urinary tract, biliary system, intestinal, it could be due to stone condition and other pathologies for the differential diagnosis. The clinical examination and work-up are necessary here. The given information cannot give any clue or idea because it is very less information given here.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
