General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having cervical spondilitis producing vertigo first and then backache.
both problems can be due to spondilitis.
Go for xray cervical spines and vertebrae for cervical spondilitis.
Treatment of this ailment will cure your both problems.
Physiotherapy, short way diathermy will be helpful.
Avoid putting pillow under your neck.
Take calcium and vitamin A and D supplements.
Ok and take care.
I find this answer helpful
