What Causes Severe Back Pain Mainly In The Left Side?
I have pain in my back mainly the left side and in July was in hospital for a few weeks with Pericarditis and pneumonia. Just been to my GP and was given a letter for the hospital. My BP was ok 120/70 and my pulse was 99. Have this for about 4 days now and have also been having sweats especially at nigh, the bed is soaking in the morning. I have just started a new job and cant be taking time off. Any suggestions on what to do please.
thanks for posting your query. As you have mentioned keep a constant check for your pericardittis and pneumonia. backache with left side pain could be due to compression of left nerve roots in lumbar spine region. proper neurological assessment is requiredd. Start with the medication for backache in form of muscle relaxants and pregabalin with methycobalamin. avoid forward bending and heavy weight lifting. Avoid anxiety. Be relaxed. Start back extension exercise. MRI to be done if needed. Get well soon . Take care. Send further query for your follow up
