What Causes Severe Back Pain Post Knee Replacement Surgery?

I had knee replacement 14 months ago About 5 monthes ag i had a set back pain went down my leg across my foot into my ankle and my knee started hurting. It had been doing fine. now it is painfull a lot. I had gout many years ago. could it settle in my knee?

Your question is little bit confusing.
Generally back pain is not related to knee replacement surgery. It is seperate pathology. Back pain may be because of various reasons. I guess your age is in ranfe of 50 years plus as you have undergone knee replacement ( some younger patients also need knee replacement but 50 years onwards is routine ). In this age group, back pain may be because of Lumbar canal stenosis, spondylitis, Lysthesis or some other reason which can be ascertained by clinical examination and X rays/ MRI.
