What Causes Severe Back Pain While On Methylprednisolone?

I am currently taking a methylprednisolone dose pack for a very painful back pain ( suspect sciatica) and it helped greatly. I took the last dose today, and find that the pain is almost gone. We are leaving the country on the 19th of June, and my question, is it safe for me to take more if I need it starting on the day we leave?

Hello,
You could take it again but since steroids can have some very serious side effects you do not want to take it unless your really need it.
