There is too much to say, however, had urinalysis done on Monday. Having severe bloating, pressure, frequent urination, weakness. It is not wed and I am now having pain in m back as well and the doc did NOT give me an antibiotic when I went in. I did follow up with gyn had pelvic and vaginal ultrasounds today. I feel worse each day, and called for urinalysis report. They said it was not back yet this morning. I called back later to let them know I did not feel well and that pain was in lower back. They said a partial report came back, but the culture was not back yet. So I asked what a partial report meant? She said it came back suspicious . I asked what that meant and she didn t really say...sort of muttered...blood, abnormal or atypical cells (not sure which it was) and a few other things were see. However, without the culture, he was getting me started on medication to ease the symptoms. I assumed that it was an antibiotic, especially with the back pain. So now I pick it up and it is something called hyoscyamine. I looked it up and NOT an antibiotic and I am NOt taking it. What does suspicious mean in urinalysis, and why no antibiotic? and is it normal for it to take more than 48 hrs for culture?
