What Causes Severe Bloating And Indigestion Problems?

Hello,
I am a 27 year old female who is currently taking the pill (regularly). I have been experiencing fairly severe stomach bloating and indigestion problems, and swollen breasts over the past two weeks, and my emotions have been really up and down. I've been under a ton of stress so I assumed it was just that, but yesterday two days ago I began experiencing light brown spotting and it hasn't gone away. I've had hormone/estrogen issues the last two years but I don't know if it's related. Am I experiencing a "hysterical" pregnancy? Did I have a miscarriage? Should i do to a doctor?

Hello,

Some advice that I can give to you for the bloating is:

- Use Simethicone medication
- Avoid chewing gum
- Limit your intake of carbonated drinks
- Avoid foods that cause gas, such vegetables in the cabbage family, dried beans, and lentils
- Eat slowly and avoid drinking through a straw
-Use lactose-free dairy products (if you are lactose intolerant)

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
