What Causes Severe Body And Joint Pains After Eating Pork?

I ate pork BBQ last night. 2 hours after eating, I had severe pain all through my body-- my head and my joints feeling it the worst. I thought it was from eating too much salt, but now think it was the pork. I have been experimenting with vegetarianism, and have only eaten a couple bites of meat in the last several months. Could eating pork have caused me to feel this way?... 5'4", 145 lbs, female age 40; mostly healthy all my life.
