What Causes Severe Chest Discomfort With Sudden Flashes Of Light In Vision?

I have a male friend 89 years old who was lying on his bed resting, saw flashing lights and felt a like concrete was on his chest. Does this sound like a TIA, mini stroke or heart attack.... he was out today but also had to stay in the chair after having his hair cut. Can you advise.

Hello,
It could have been a TIA or problem with his heart. He needs to be evaluated by his doctor as soon as possible. If it happens again, he should go to emergency.
