What Causes Severe Chest Pain And Shortness Of Breath?
So I have been having extreme pain in my chest which is causing me to have shortness of breath, I m also having fatigue, none stop headaches, back pain, Numbness in the legs and hands sometimes, unexpected Bruises, and Achiness. If you can t just talk to me about these things could you answer my one question: how do I tell my loved ones about this things
** Thanks for contacting HCM with your health concern and following can be the possibilities:
1. chest pain with breathlessness can either be of respiratory or cardiac origin thus: i. If it is associated with wheezing/rhonchi suspect bronchial asthma ii. If associated with edema of legs, palpable liver or prominent neck veins suspect congestive cardiac failure iii. if appeared suddenly suspect acute myocardial infarct with left ventricular failure iv. if features suggestive of emphysematous chest, and poor air blast suspect emphysema [C.O.P.D] with super added infection or spontaneous pneumothorax.
2. It will be wise to see a chest specialist or a cardiologist for further line of management.
3. Sometimes this holding back [not telling anyone] can lead to Anxiety which can further aggravate the problem [anxiety related chest pain] thus let your family members know at the earliest
