What Causes Severe Chest Pain In Young Adults?

hi, im 19 years old and always get severe chest pains i would like to think its heartburn , but sometimes they hurt so bad it even hurts to breath.. probably get them once a week but they last from anywhere to 10 minutes to hours. i tried tums and alot of home remedies. nothing works
