What Causes Severe Chest Pain Upon Using Mylan Nitro Patch?
My mother is 90 & has been given o.4 of Mylan nitro patch. After 7 hours on the 4th day of taking the patch she is having severe chest pains lasting for approximately 1hour. We then removed the patch. She does have an enlarged heart. Should we take her to the hospital, or reduce the amount of time the patch should be on the skin. The directions are for the patch to be on the skin for 12hours. Thank you

It might be angina and not related to the patch. Take her to the hospital at the earliest and get evaluated. An ECG is required for further assessment.
