What Causes Severe Chest Pain When Diagnosed With A Thyroid Problem?
Hi Im a 53 years old female, I had the left part of my thyroid removed 10 years ago, Since then I have went from a .025 mg to 137. up down up down, my dr also said that the higher dose of medication the more strain it puts on my heart. Well I was just in the ER due to severe chest pains and the er dr said wow your thyroid level is very high, if that is the case why wouldn t they take out the rest of my thyroid, wouldn t that make it easier to control and regulate?
Please, as you has written in your question, I think that you have signs of hyperthyroidism, even though you've done thyroid lobectomy (partial Thyroid removed) 10 years ago. When consultation with a cardiologist is OK, in this cases the best way is to perform a complete check up, but I would like to see this Blood analysis like; TSH, FT3, FT4, TPO, Calcemia, PCR, and US & schintigraphy of thyroid gland, after that you can write me all results of examinations.
