What Causes Severe Chills, Diarrhea After Uterus Removal/endometriosis Scraped From Cervix?

Hi. I am 10 days post op from having my uterus removed and endometriosis scraped from my cervix. I have been having severe chills, diarrhea about 6 times a day and cramping in pelvic area since day 8. I just started spotting again on day 10 even though I had no spotting since being released from the hospital after 2 days. Also 1 out of 4 of my incisions just will not close at all. I basically feel like I have the flu.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it is the infection of the sutures, and probably the internal organs.
don't neglect it thinking that it is the flu. It is the infection of the sutures. If not attended properly ,you may need to have a second surgery.
I advise you to consult your surgeon for immediate action.
You may need to have culture and sensitivity of the discharge from the sutures, and treatment according to the result.
The diarrhea may be due to the hematinics, or antibiotic.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
