What Causes Severe Constipation And Acid Reflex?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...my name is renu,i am 21 years old and i have constipation from many days nearly from one year,but from two or three days i am feeling problem in my food pipe, the acidity level in food pipe is so much that i could not take breath easily sleep easily

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Acidity in the food pipe to the extent that you can not breath easily or sleep easily indicate that there is a severe form of acidity and thus you require the following with immediate effect:
Consult your Doctor immediately to get a clinical evaluation for the present problem and the old problem of constipation.
An upper GI Endoscopy is a must.
Get started with a PPI like Pantoprazole, antacid every three hours, Domperidone at 8 hourly interval.
Soft bland diet that you can tolerate.
Get examination for the lung and heart too.
Tests of stool as you have constipation, of blood and urine.
Ultrasonography of abdomen.
All these things will lead to a proper diagnosis and thus gives a plan for add-on further management.
