What Causes Severe Cough After Taking Aspirin?

I ve been coughing for 2 days. I ve had a terrible headache and I m taking aspirin. Today I was coughing so bad I began to urinate on myself and I noticed there was blood in my urine. I stopped taking the aspirin and haven t had a problem since. should I be concerned

Apparently you have developed some sort of allergic reaction to Aspirin.
In some sensitive individuals particular those who have nasal polyps, Aspirin can cause narrowing of the airways (bronchospasm) resulting in recurrent bouts of cough and rash.

Blood in the urine (bleeding) can be an important side effect of Aspirin because of its ability to prevent the aggregation of the platelets (clot formation).

In view of the above explanation, you should avoid taking Aspirin.
