What Causes Severe Diarrhea Followed By Fainting?
My sister went out to breakfast by herself and after she was done, she ran to the bathroom and had severe diarrhea and then went to the front of the restaurant, sat down to catch a cab. She immediately passed out and next thing she knew an ambulance was called to assist. She woke up and could not remember what happened to her. Sisters
are in different states and trying to figure out what happened. She has a doctors appointment next week.

She can have food poisoning by bacterial toxin and so having immediate diarrhea.
By excess diarrhea fluid loss can be there and so by dehydration and electrolyte lost dizziness can occur and so she might faint for some time
Maintain hydration with lots of water
Stool routine micro examination is advisable
Take ORS also with water
