What Causes Severe Fatigue And Drowsiness While On Valsartan?
my husband is chronically fatiqued, appears intoxicated when he is not, has had stress test, scans of carotid arteries, liver scan, gallbladder study, and multiple lab tests with normal results. He has labile blood pressure, takes valsartan and HTCZ with parameters. He is 68 years old, height 5 4 , weight 142 #

Valsartan can cause CNS side effects like dizziness; fatigue.Fatigue may also be contributed by electrolyte disturbances like hyperkalemia(Valsartan ) or hypokalemia (HTCZ) depending upon the dose of each drug.Go for BUN,serum creatinine and serum electrolytes as first line investigation.
