What Causes Severe Fatigue While Suffering From Crohn S Disease

I am a woman 74 years of age. I have been a Crohn s patient since I was 18 years old. I am a breast cancer, uterine cancer and anal cancer survivor. I take B12 shots months. I have a Boniva infusion 4 times a year. Recently I have been feeling exhaustion. I sleep well and wake up feeling tired. I work a part time job at a ladies boutique that I enjoy tremendously. Why the exhaustion?

Hi There

After going through your query I understand your concern.

I would like to tell you that fatigue is a common symptom of Chron's disease and can be because of Vitamin B12 deficiency, medicine induced and chronic inflammatory disorder. Medicines used in treatment of Chron's Disease, like prednisone, methotrexate, and azathioprine and chronic Rheumatoid Artheritis can cause you fatigue.

Kindly consult your treating doctor for another alternatives or take a counseling for ways to manage Fatigue.
