What Causes Severe Gastric Pain Other Than Diverticulitis?
Hello, Ive been having a lot of gas pain no matter what I seem to eat. Recently I had 3 sharp pains in my lower left side, it is not diverticulitis. My stool is soft and light brown. It also seems to float, Ive been asked this many times so thats why Im mention it LOL. Any ideas ?

Hello,
It is due to severe gastritis. As a first line management, you can try antacids like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and plan for an ultrasound scan.
