What Causes Severe Headaches Along With Shortness Of Breath??

My mom is a 76 year old in good health up until about 2 months ago when she started to experience Hot flashes, excruciating headache, pain in chest with shortness of breath and pain down legs. She has had 3 of these episodes and the 4th just happened while in church last Sunday. This was the worst one and 911 was called and she was taken by ambulance. She was extremely agitated and unable to keep still for a CT scan and didn t know any of the family that was in the ER with her. ER eventually sedated her and int-abated her in order to obtain CT scan and MRI which all came back normal. They proceeded to do tons of blood work, EEG, and cardiac cath which all came back normal. They have no idea what happened and they have given me no direction on where to go next. She has also for the past year has had scalp pain so bad she can barely stand touching let alone washing her hair. I looked at her scalp and it is very white and normal looking with no dandruff. Her Dr. did a head scan and nothing showed abnormal. The only other issue she has had was neck surgery after a fall years ago. She has a plate and screws in cervical region. I would appreciate any input on what could possibly be going on so that I can get her to the proper specialist.

Hello

If all the tests are normal as long as her symptom of headache is concerned, then it might be the migraine and nothing else.
It is a kind of functional disorder and not the pathological disease, so no need to worry about this.
In my opinion migraine can be discussed with a doctor, else it is nothing to worry.

Hope I have answered your query,
