What Causes Severe Heart Palpitations And Pressure In The Head?

Hello, my mom is 79 and was healthy until Feb, then she suddenly got sick. For 6 weeks she suffered with bouts of massive heart palpitations, daily. Whenever they subsided the pressure would go to her head. I had her try to push her stomach downward in case of hiatal hernia and the palpitations went completely away. Now, she suffers with massive head pressure and super severe tinnitus type "motoring" in her right ear. It is becoming so chronic that she is quickly becoming almost completely debilitated. Been to ER's several times, all tests have come back inconclusive, nothing. Any thoughts?

Hi,

What is the blood pressure? It may be due to hypertension or arrhythmia of heart or anemia or thyrotoxicosis or infection etc. Pressure in the head may be due to hydrocephalus or migraine headache or meningitis etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please get it done thyroid profile or hemoglobin, ECG and CT brain then please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
