What Causes Severe Indigestion, Heart Burn And Abdominal Bloating?

I am a 50 year old lady. I woke up in the night with terrible indigestion. Not heartburn but upper abdomen. My stomach feels bloated, gassy. I feel nauseous still and it is 3:30 in the afternoon now. Keep hoping it will go away. I rarely get indigestion and never in a way that a Rolaids can t handle. We ate dinner at our local sushi place last night. And yesterday I had a Thermage treatment above my knees. The doctor injected me with some sort of Ibuprofen at about 11:30AM yesterday. Could either dinner or the Thermage treatment cause this? Any idea how long this kind of thing can last?

Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Sudden bloating in the night with nausea after eating at local sushi shop indicates an intestinal infection like food poisoning. Thermage treatment can not cause such problems.
I would advise you the following in such a situation: Get the blood and stool test done.
Ultrasound of the abdomen particularly for hepato-biliary system.
Get a course of an antibiotic and metronidazole along with probiotics.
Clinical evaluation and examination by a Doctor and correlating with the reports of investigations helps further and you also need a valid prescription for the Chemist to give a proper course.
Activated charcoal, pancreatic enzymes may help further.
Take homemade food only.
Use only boiled and cooled water to drink.
Watch out for such places that give intestinal disturbances and stop eating or drinking at such joints.
