What Causes Severe Itchiness All Over The Body After Taking L Arginine Tablet?

Hi..5 6 months ago,I used L arginine for muscle growth, and since then my itching hasn t stopped. It s so sever that it even wakes me up in the middle of the night. At the early stages of consumption, the itching was mild, slowly began to grow. Most of the itching happens around my privates and my lower back. I have tried hydroxyzine, it helped for a few days buy that doesn t help either.plz help.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the itching started with the supplement then this means that you may be allergic to it.

It is possible to be allergic to any chemical agent , food/drink/medications/supplements , all of these can cause allergic reactions.

You can use an antihistamine to stop the itching but it is best to stop using it completely.
If a person is continually exposed to an allergen then the allergic response can worsen.

I hope this helps
