Hi I used nair about 2 1/2 weeks ago and I think I left it on to long and it started burning bad and after that my vagina was itching and seemed like it had a raw spot and I was irritated so I just let it be and I started washing it and not touching it and I looked today and crust and dead skin was seeming to come off when wiping what should I do?? Any at home remedies
You should never leave the hair removers longer than the recommended time.
You can apply the cold compress for relief. Application of ointment soframycin or aloe vera based creams are helpful.
You should apply hydrocortisone cream to get rid of itching at least thrice daily after washing & drying the affected area.
Take care of your hygiene, do not let it get infected. For pain you can take Ibuprofen, one sos when needed. Avoid sex for a couple of days while you are being treated.
Do not scratch. It should subside within 2-3 days. However, if it doesn't you should get it examined physically by a GP.
