What Causes Severe Itchiness On The Palms And Feet After Taking Misoprostol Tablet?

Hello doctor..I am 4 weeks pregnant..I went to a doctor and she asked me to abort it with medicines..today she inserted misoprostol in vagina... My palms and my feet have started itching?? Plz tell me the reason..and plz tell me within how much time will bleeding start..plz help me.

I have read your query and appreciate your concern
one of the side effects of misoprostol are hot flushes and fever besides abdominal cramps diarrhea and nausea.
sometimes this drug may cause allergy.
Don't worry if it is just hot flushes it will go away once it starts bleeding.if you are irritated with the itching,just take one dose of antiallergic/antihistamine.But if you start developing rash see your doctor.
Bleeding generally starts after four hours of the pill but sometimes it may take more time.you need to repeat the dose after three days if bleeding or abortion doesnot occur.
