Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
There are many causes for knee pain that started after 6 months of replacement 1. Infection but less likely since its bilateral 2. Loosening of implants 3. If patella was not replaced it manly lead to pain 4. Minor stress fracture around the implants . So you need to be investigated with Xray of bilateral knees anteroposterior and lateral views. It helps in confirming diagnosis. If Ther is swelling then aspiration of fluid and culture sensitivity is advised. Take urgent visit to your operating surgeon and get yourself examined. Take diclofenac 50mg twice a day for the time being.
