Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the last few months I have been having severe knee cap pain in my right knee when I walk. Now it is also painful in the back of the knee, and I am feeling it in the left knee now as well. Achey all over, shoulders now included. So stiff when I get up after sitting it is painful. I also have been clumsy lately, I have fallen several times in the last year. A few months ago I also had numbness in my hands and arms, but that seems to have disapeared lately.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query.Your problem is mostly arthritis. A physical examination of patella and knee joint is necessary and rule out chances of meniscal and ligament injury also.In such suspected cases an X ray followed by MRI might be required. For arthritis i treat with anti inflammatory drugs like Aceclfenac diacerin and Physiotherapy or quadriceps strengthening exercises advised after that.Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.
