complaint :early menopause with pain lower abdomen and lt flank
answer:
early menopause may be normal but your pain isn’t.
you need to undergo the following lab tests:
urine for microscopy(including nitrite)-to rule out infection/stone in the urinary tract
stool lab test-to rule out amoebic infection
blood tests :tc/dc/ESR/crp(quantitative)/serum amylase(to rule out any infection or swelling of pancreas)
ultrasound abdomen and pelvis to rule out any masses in the pelvis (arising from ovary/Fallopian tubes-like turbo ovarian abscess/
pelvic inflammatory disease))and abdomen including the unusual conditions like aneurysm of abdominal aorta(main blood vessel in the abdomen) and to rule out any push collections in the abdomen.
after the above you also need to consult your gynaecologist (she will rule out infections or mass arising out of pelvic organs and also asses the health of your cervix(mouth of uterus) thereafter a
general surgeon (most importantly to rule out any mass in the rectum or
anal canal or other causes like
inflammatory bowel disease)for arriving at a proper diagnosis and management.
trust this helps you in the process of healing.
