hi, i have been having terrible pain in my lower back at my tail bone especially, however i did visit a doctor and he mnetioned that ihad spondylitius and prescribed medication for the same. i have finished with my medication adn was feeling but but again again the pain has started. i can feel the pain more when i sit for a long time as my work place. please suggest...

Hello

The medicines are not the permanent cure for back pain.
It will keep recurring.
First, you should go for MRI of spine to know the extent of damage. There could be a disc prolapse causing nerve root compression.

You must consult a physiotherapist and learn back strengthening exercises.

Also take care of your posture. If you have to work for long sitting hours, i would suggest you take a walk around in your chamber after every 30-45mins.

Take muscle relaxant and pain killer meds when needed.
