What Causes Severe Mood Swings And Heart Palpitations While On Deanxit?

Hi, My doctor prescribed me Deanxit for IBS two pills per day for six months, I have been taking it for the last five months but now I feel some strange symptoms such as feeling blue, mode swing, fast heart beats, demotivation, anxiety, and dry hands. I read that deanxit can cause some of these side effects when taking for long period. Do you believe that I need to reduce the dose and seek for another medicine?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

The main side effects of Deanxit include weakness, tiredness, anxiety, mood swing, insomnia and dry mouth etc. Your side effects may be due to deanxit.

However it is prescription based medicine so don't reduce the dosage without advise.
Consult your doctor and inform him about side effects. Then take treatment accordingly.
