What Causes Severe Pain And Swelling In Ear With Migraine Attacks?
hello. i am a 27 year old female. about a week ago i started experiencing some discomfort in my ear canal, eventually it swelled to the point i can barely hear out of the affected ear. the pain is severe and it has also caused two severe migraines in the last three days. as of last night i started experiencing some crusty discharge, and this morning discovered that it's leaking a green pus. i am aware of the complications caused by ear infections, and i have an appointment with a nurse practitioner first thing tomorrow morning. however, i fear complications and i am becoming aware of the seriousness of my problem. can i make it another night in my current state and get to the doctor first thing tomorrow, or do you suggest i seek emergency treatment?

hello, pain followed by ear discharge indicates that ur middle ear got infectd and discharging pus through tympanic membrane perforation. usually ear complications are associated with fever, head- ache, giddiness, loss of consciousness, bleeding . if u do not have symptoms u can wait and visit doctor directly. mean time u can start tab. ciprofloxaxin 500 mg twice daily with ear drops oflox 3drops/ 3 times. all d best.
