What Causes Severe Pain In Back Below The Waist?
I am 66 and am in bed since yesterday when i experienced the worst pain i have ever felt in my back just below my waist. i can't move without crying out and i had 5 children natural childbirth so i have a high tolerance for dealing with pain, but i can't even get up, can i call an ambulance and go to hospital or don't they take care of things like this. i am feeling very desperate, i even took some muscle relaxers my daughter had but they didn't help.

It seems that you got muscle catch on back giving this problem.
There might be having strain on back muscles giving rise muscle spasm.
At this age there might be having some osteoporotic changes in bones producing severe trouble.
Along with muscle relaxant, take NSAID medicine as well.
Apply some muscle relaxant cream locally.
