What Causes Severe Pain In Chest When Suffering From Lung Infection?

My husband has been diagnosed with an infection in the lining of his right lung. We went to the emergency when he

had severe pain inhis lower chest which moved to his neck. He was exrayed, blood tests. Was given amoxile anti-

biotic which he has been on for two weeks. After the first week, he was coughing up phelm with black, brown and

later light blood. This has now ceased, phelm now clear. He is still breathless, fatigued and occasionally has

a sharp pain in his chest. Am concerned that there could be a problem. What now? Adrianne, concerned wife.

Your opinion would be appreciated.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern for your husband, the lower respiratory infection takes little more time to come around, during the resolving phase the cough and chest pain are common symptoms and this can be best managed with the symptomatic medicine and the best medicine for the pain would be "Codeine tab " you can try this three times in day, and nothing to worry about this, hope this information helps you, take care and have good day.
