What Causes Severe Pain In Eyes?

Normally very healthy eyes,just before bedtime became painful and now feel like they are being pierced with needles. I have very pale skin and red hair but have not been in the sun for a prolonged time. So sunburn seems odd but its happened before. What are options to soothe them

two information are required. use of contact lens and duration of computer use. both can give rise to dry eye. start using refresh eye tear drop. get it examined by eye doctor for confirmation.
