Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
Methamphetamine is vasoconstrictor and has effects on alpha receptors. It's known to cause severe pain and numbness when extravasation occurs. This is also due to its effects on alpha receptors. Side effects are temporary and subsides in few days. Apply cold compress and take diclofenac 50mg twice a day for pain relief. Visa dilator may be injection if required initially.
