What Causes Severe Pain In Hip Area And Difficulty Sitting Down?
19, don't smoke, don't drink, short/skinny.
I have pain in my left hip, severe pain in my left back dimple and a hard ball like pea sized mass that feels free floating on top of the dimple. The mass hurts more to be touched and sitting is really painful. My hip feels like it pops out of the socket and back in some times. Wondering what it might be or what I can do to help with pain. Going up stairs is even more painful.

Hello
It is because of involvement of the hip and most likely infection is the cause.This needs to be ruled out by complete blood count with ESR and Xray.
A visit to orthopaedic surgeon is highly recommended .
