What Causes Severe Pain In The Bladder While Urinating?

My daughter is passing blood in her urine,and having server pain in her bladder.she is also unable to control her bladder proply, she has seen the nurse who has proscribed antibiotics,for 3days.what do you think the problem can be?she is 42 years old.

Hi
It is likely it is a urinary tract infection and the symptoms may take few days to resolve. Please ask her to drink plenty of oral fluids, avoiding fizzy and acidic drinks, reduce coffee and tea. If symptoms persist after few days then consider visit to an urologist or your doctor.
