What Causes Severe Pain In The Upper Back?

I have a burning, stabbing pain in the back, upper part of my head. Feels like it is just below the surface It happened before, about 6 months ago and lasted about 2 weeks or so. It is spiratic and lasts a couple of minutes at a time, then stops. About an hour or so later, it does it again.

As the pain lasts only for couple of minutes ad related to activity it is mostly muscule spasm pain .
I advice you to receive meloxicam 15 mg tab once daily when needed
