What Causes Severe Soreness Where The Hamstrings Connect To Hip?
I have severe soreness where the hamstrings connect to the hip, both legs...Severe pain if I lean forward to stretch the hamstrings, weakness from the pain...condition has existed for more than one year...Seems to be getting worse...Have had steroid shots, nsaids, neproxin, ibuprofin etc but get very little relief...certainly not lasting... Have pain after sitting for more than a few minutes...What do you think???
Hi Welcome to healthcaremagic I have gone through your query and understand your concern. This seems to be tendinitis. Rest ,analgesic and local steroids injection is its treatment. But it is not relieved by this treatment also. So you can get your vitamin D3 test and get its supplements if found low because vitamin D3 deficiency is associated with unexplained pains of musculoskeletal system. You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you. Wishing you a good health. Take care.
