What Causes Severe Stomach Pain With Normal CT Scan?
I ve been having sever stomach pain an went to the hospital an they gave me a catscan an said nothing was wronge that they could see an to schedule a colonoscopy when I can I still have these pains an I m wondering if it s an ulcer I m on pain killers for my back cause my l4 an l5 disk are messed up

Severe pain in the abdomen can be there with normal CAT scan. There can be a peptic ulcer or inflammatory bowel disease. Get a blood haemoglobin done. Get a colonoscpy and upper GI endoscopy done as advised by your doctor to look if ulcers are there. Take tablet Pantoprazole on an empty stomach daily. Your doctor can guide on the exact dosage.
